Living daily life in Dubai was such a delightful surprise to me experiencing how my family lived in their totally different part of the world. Of course I was a bit skeptical and yes of course it is very different, but now, well, let these photos speak for themselves.
However, somethings are universal everywhere :)…guys getting in a little football watching.
Pool & outdoor cafe
Minutes from their house complete with outdoor children’s movie set up by neighborhood playground. Now where can we find that here?
Beautifully maintained walks everywhere that are free of trash, perfectly manicured landscaping, and I felt so safe. Again, this is minutes from Mark & Becky’s house.
Bab Al Shams Desert Resort
Now I’m a lover of all dates!
Who else but Bob & Becky?
Can you tell our Paige dearly loves all animals feathered (w/falcon) or not?
And to really & truly finish, is my favorite of all time…4 hour brunch at the Westin Hotel!
Friday is holy day for the Muslims, but Mark says Friday brunch in Dubai is a major event and was he ever right on! It is our Sunday so after church, we did the brunch from heaven!
Where else can you go to a REALLY fancy restaurant and not only have children welcome, but entertained?
Meanwhile guess who has a pretty large lizard at even a petting zoo set up for the children…yes…this is at the Westin!
Food art…no words needed
So many choices…so little tummy room
There is nothing not to be had…nothing!
One of many kiosks set up for what and how much your little heart desires
Brooke loved the chocolate fountain
So now like the ending of Sound Of Music….”goodbye….& “good night” …
Living and loving life together,
Mitzi
