Meet ADORNE’s WAVE lighting switch, manufactured by Legrand North America. It is so #BoomerSmarts!
Hi everyone. As some of you know, I’ve been an advocate of the correct amount of lighting for baby boomers for a long time and today, I’d like to share with you that ADORNE by Legrand North America ‘s WAVE lighting switch has been granted the right to use my #BoomerSmarts seal of approval badge in their own marketing materials.
After reviewing their products, all of which are beautiful for all ages of homeowners, their WAVE lighting switch has earned my special trademarked #BoomerSmarts seal of approval badge and I’d like to share with you why I chose this particular product out of all they offer.
First of all, the WAVE lighting switch is as simple as it sounds. You wave in front of it and the light goes on and off. For those of you with elderly parents who may not have the use of their fingers due to arthritis, etc., there is now an easy option that does not require fine motor control.
And it’s safer, too, for those who may be a bit more susceptible to infections. With just a wave needed to turn the light on and off, there’s less chance of contact with germs from others who may have touched the switch or wall plate.
Products that receive my #BoomerSmarts designation must also be multi-functional and chic, and the WAVE qualifies.
Installing the light switch and wall plate can be done by a family member and if there comes a time when you need to change out the WAVE switch for another type of ADORNE lighting switch, it’s easy to do. Click the picture below for a video How To.
And now comes the chic!
The WAVE lighting switch’s wall plate comes in a multitude of colors { 32 } or it can be clear, to coordinate with your wallpaper, or you can customize a background for the wallplate, using their included template.
Wouldn’t this make a wonderful housewarming gift for a parent or friend moving into a new or remodeled home or a guest cottage or room in your own multi-generational home?
